Aerospace structural parts demand high strength-to-weight ratio, good fatigue behaviour and full material traceability. Where the alloy, heat treatment and process parameters suit it, forging offers better material continuity than casting. We have produced and inspected sample parts for this sector; specific qualification and certification requirements are confirmed per project.
